John Williamson
Shiatsu, Do-In and Reiki practitioner
John is a Shiatsu therapist practising in and around Glasgow and Cumbernauld, Scotland. He holds Shiatsu massage and private Do-In exercise sessions at Woodland Herbs in the west end of Glasgow. For a few who cannot make it to the clinic he provides home visits.
John studied at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu (1993-1997) and became a Member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society UK (MRSS) in April 1998. He stayed on with the Glasgow School of Shiatsu as an assistant for three years, then as a teacher for a further four years.
Being passionate about Shiatsu, John enjoys teaching and runs a range of classes throughout the year. Subjects cover Acupressure for various common ailments, Do-In and various levels of Shiatsu including introductory and post graduate workshops. These courses are held at the Woodland Herbs clinic in Glasgow. The Acupressure classes are taught in collaboration with Francesca Howell who practises Acupuncture.
